Our daily schedule and flexible care options
Our pedagogical work is based on a development-centered approach. The focus is on the individual development of each child. The daily schedule offers clear structures and rituals while leaving room for flexibility and consideration of the different needs of the children.
Our Daily Schedule
08:00 – 09:00 | Arrival and Free Play
Children arrive at their own pace. This phase enables a gentle transition from home to group life. Free play promotes independence, social contacts, and emotional security.
09:00 – 09:30 | Shared Breakfast
The shared breakfast strengthens the sense of community and supports the development of social skills and independence. Children are accompanied according to their developmental stage.
From 09:30 | Development-Oriented Educational Activities
Depending on the children's interests, developmental stage, and daily condition, activities take place in the Prater park, in the garden, or as creative activities in the group. Movement, nature experiences, and creative activities promote motor, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
11:00 | Preparation and Shared Lunch
Rituals during preparation for lunch provide orientation and security. Eating together supports social learning processes and promotes independence.
11:45 | Rest and Nap Time
After an age-appropriate story, rest or nap time follows. This phase serves recovery, processing of experiences, and emotional stabilization.
13:00 | Individual Waking
Children are gently guided into the afternoon according to their needs and developmental stage.
13:30 | Afternoon Snack
The shared snack offers another opportunity for nourishment and social exchange.
14:00–16:00 | Free Play and Pick-up Time
During free play, children can pursue their interests independently. The pedagogical staff observe, accompany, and provide targeted developmental impulses when needed. Pick-up takes place on a rolling basis.

Early Childhood Education
Early childhood education at Kindergruppe 123 is based on a development-centered approach and understands education as a holistic, continuous process that begins at birth. Each child is perceived and accompanied in their individual personality, developmental pace, and abilities.
Education takes place primarily in everyday life, in play, in relationships, and through personal experiences. Children are actively involved in educational processes and have the opportunity to independently discover, explore, and understand their environment.
Key educational areas include:
- Social and emotional development (relationship building, empathy, self-confidence)
- Language education (dialogues, picture books, songs, stories)
- Motor development (outdoor movement, body awareness)
- Cognitive development (discovering, trying out, problem-solving)
- Creative expression (painting, crafting, music)
- Everyday skills (eating, dressing, hygiene)
The pedagogical staff continuously observe the children, document developmental processes, and provide targeted impulses that connect to the children's current interests and abilities. Emphasis is placed on a stimulating, safe, and appreciative learning environment.
A structured daily routine with recurring rituals offers children orientation and security while creating space for individual needs, rest periods, and spontaneous learning moments.
Collaboration with parents is an essential part of early childhood education. Regular exchange ensures a partnership-based accompaniment of child development.
